GRAD stands for the GreyRidge Rapid Application Development framework, a set of pre-built and pre-tested components which we have developed since 2005. It is what makes our software “clever”.
In a nutshell, GRAD means that we don’t start systems from scratch. After just a few simple steps, we are able to begin building unique systems with pre-configured screens, built-in security and reliability and a host of out-of-the-box features.
All of our products are built on this framework, ensuring our products can be tailored incredibly quickly and that the end result is of a high quality. GRAD bespoke is a powerful and reliable software tool that handles the basics of all of our systems; things like connectivity, high-level security, data storage, screen design and reports.
Security
The current version of GRAD uses the class leading Oracle 11g database which brings you class-leading security. As a result, every GRAD system is naturally secure and with access via the Internet, you don’t have to synchronize lots of different systems or worry about accessing data from remote locations.
All GRAD systems handle all of the security and data protection that you need. Each staff member gets their own secure login and will only view their data while you can view it all.
Reliability
GRAD-based software has been in use since 2004 and currently over 500 businesses and thousands of business people use one of our systems every day.
Our clients come from a diverse range of sectors and sizes; they include large organizations such as The National Trust, Corus and Lloyds TSB, over 30 franchise networks, public sector bodies such as Kent County Council and a whole range of smaller companies from a diverse range of industry sectors. Whether the sector is dentistry, concrete, child care, building maintenance or project management: the likelihood is that we have been there and written the specification.
Since we began, GRAD-based systems have performed superbly and we have built an enviable reputation for reliability with our clients.
We have next to no downtime, so few faults that we can offer our reassuring
